There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently something that should not have been done at all. Peter Drucker

DEVELOPMENT

It’s hard to think of anything more foundational than developing people. Still, it's not uncommon for development to be neglected. And when not neglected, it’s poorly aligned. The fact that many organizations struggle to get development right is not a surprise.

Peter Drucker is one of our heroes. Despite being a prolific author, top thinker, and having a strong belief in the development of what he called ‘knowledge workers’ he never wrote a book on it. We believe that says something about the challenge of getting people development right. It’s simple, not easy.

In our approach, like Drucker, we keep it simple. First, we believe there is no more important asset in an organization than its frontline leaders. That is the area of our focus and expertise. Second, we operate only from first principles, and start by clearly defining meaningful work in your organization. Third, we believe in high standards and that continuous growth must be an expectation.
